Baldus presents an animal Christmas present

“Never hesitate when it comes to doing good!” The Baldus company followed this resolution when they supported the Neuwied Zoo with a donation.

The corona crisis has meanwhile overwhelmed all companies and industries and unfortunately the cultural sector in particular has suffered a lot from the lack of income. This is also the case at Neuwied Zoo. The zoo not only suffers from the loss of entry fees, the animals also suffer from not being visited. The carers are now trying to fight boredom with games and activities. A lot can be tinkered with, but not everything. Medical products, plants or materials for nature conservation must be bought. And so the clever idea of creating and distributing an animal wish list came about. The zoo used the social media platforms to reach as many people as possible. It was precisely this way that the message of animal wishes came to Urbar. "A great opportunity to get involved", decided Fabian Baldus, managing director of Baldus Medizintechnik GmbH. The desired pulse oximeter is a well-known piece of equipment in one's own professional context and, given its acquisition costs, is not so easy to obtain for the zoo.

On Friday, December 4th, 2020, the time had come. The handover at the gates of the Neuwied Zoo was a fulfilling and joyful event. The director of the zoo, Mr. Thiel, gratefully accepted the pulse oximeter. "This is an enormous enrichment for our veterinary department", added Ms. Waked, zoo pedagogue. So far, some citizens have already participated in the Christmas campaign, but many wishes are still open. It is also possible for people with smaller purses to participate, because the wish list also includes some inexpensive items such as secateurs or bell toys for less than 5 euros. And it is also made convenient for you: Simply order the article online and enter Neuwied Zoo as the shipping address.

“Take part in this great campaign! It just feels good to help. If you get the opportunity to do good, you should take it, ”says the owner of Baldus Medizintechnik, Fabian Baldus.

The local family company Baldus® Medizintechnik GmbH was founded in 1993 and is now in the 2nd generation. The range of services includes sales, planning, assembly, maintenance and service of nitrous oxide sedation systems and medical gas systems. Only recently the Baldus company was nominated for the Grand Prix for medium-sized companies.
